iPad – Do you need one?

Need or want – compare iPhone to normal phone or even ne ova web enabled phone. Suggest what uses could have for iPad – family board games – every1 can see it, recipies in kitchen – play recipie video’s with voice commands 4 pause etc, less space than laptop, easier to see screen, no problems with heat on lap, digital photo frame…..
